Troy Brindle graduated from Rutgers University in 1995 with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and obtained his LCSW in 2001
Troy has over 20 years of clinical experience successfully treating children, adolescents, adults and older adults. He has experience providing individual, couples, marriage, family, and group therapy. Troy is highly skilled in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Activation, Problem-Solving Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Relaxation and Stress Management. Troy is experienced in treating anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, care-giver strain, conversion disorder, depressive disorder, eating disorders, grief and loss, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, post-partum depression, mood disorders, self-injurious behaviors, and substance abuse disorders. Mr. Brindle has specialized training in the areas of Christian counseling, court ordered counseling, hypnotherapy, parent coordination, reunification, and advanced mediation for divorce and custody.
Troy developed, implemented, and administratively directs the Primary Care Integrated Behavioral Health Services division for Springfield Psychological. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Business Development. Troy has experience providing behavioral health treatment inside several primary care settings and currently treats comorbid physical health and behavioral health disorders.
