Mr. Troy Brindle graduated from Rutgers University in 1995 with a master’s degree in clinical social work and has been an LCSW since 2001. Brindle has served as past president for the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)- Pennsylvania 2015-2017 and is currently on the National Board of NASW – Washington D.C.
Brindle has over 25 years’ experience working with Children, Adolescents, Adults and Older Adults in the treatment modalities of Individual, Couples, Family, Marriage, and Group therapy. Troy is experienced in Behavior Activation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy, Stress/Relaxation Management, Solution Focused Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Visualization, and Guided Imagery. Troy also has advanced training in divorce/custody mediation, court ordered counseling, Christian counseling, parent-child reunification, and parent coordination. Additionally, Troy serves as the Vice-President and Director of Business Development for Springfield Psychological. He is experienced in treating adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders, dementia, eating disorders, grief, impulse control disorders, medical co-morbidities, mood disorders (depression and bi-polar), trauma, self-injurious behaviors, substance-abuse disorders, school anxiety, school avoidance, and school learning differences.
Troy has developed, implemented and directs Springfield Psychological’ s primary care behavioral health integration services division which provides integrated mental health services to numerous Primary Care Practices and Patient Centered Medical Homes in southeastern, PA.
