Knox, Tamika PhD, MSW, M.Ed., LCSW
Dr. Tamika Knox, PhD, MSW, M.Ed., LCSW has a Master’s in Social Work from Widener University, which she obtained in 2012. She also holds a Master’s in Human Sexuality Education (clinical track) from the same university, which she earned in 2016. Additionally, she has a PhD, which she completed in 2023 from Widener University as well. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Dr. Knox views things from a strengths-based perspective and often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other therapeutic interventions. She believes that therapeutic approaches should vary based on the needs of her clients.
Dr. Knox works with clients facing various concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, obesity issues, and grief and loss.
Dr. Knox believes that everyone should have a safe and healing space to work through life challenges and traumatic experiences. She tries to bring everyone together in a supportive space, utilizing a holistic approach to help people heal, enhance self-love, and develop healthy relationships.
