Matheson, Dana LPC
Dana Matheson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both the State of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from West Chester University and her Master of Arts in Counseling with a Psychology Sub-Specialty in Marital and Family Therapy from Kutztown University. Dana began her career as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. She also has lived in Seattle, Washington area providing in-home counseling services to children and adolescents; thus, preventing out-of-home placement and reunification services. She has 15-years of experience in Program Management with Children/Youth Probation funded services. Dana uses a Family Systems approach, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based approach and holistic treatment modalities in treating adolescents, individuals, families and couples. She is Trauma Certified, and her specialty areas include but are not limited to Attention Deficit Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Grief/Transitions, Post-Traumatic Disorders, LGBTQ issues, Relationship issues and Substance Abuse.
