Mr. Prentice received his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He received his Certificate of Advanced Study in Pastoral Counseling from Neumann University in 2012. He received his Certified Disaster Crisis Outreach and Referral Professional certification from the PA Certification Board in 2018, and his Certified Clinical Trauma Professional certification from Evergreen Certifications.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mr. Prentice compassionately works with clients age 14 and older, utilizing individual, couple/marital, family and group therapy modalities, focusing on early use of coping skills and exploration of underlying issues to prevent reoccurrence. He specializes in treating anxiety, grief/loss, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, post-traumatic disorder, LGBTQ+, family of LGBTQ+, veterans and active duty/NG, military families, first responders, disaster/post-crisis mental health counseling and debriefing, and pastoral counseling with members of mainstream and non-mainstream religions. He has also practiced Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with trauma for almost 30 years.
