Hillary Engelbert, LPC
Hello and welcome! I’m Hillary Englebert, a licensed mental health therapist dedicated to providing a compassionate and empowering therapeutic space for those seeking healing and personal growth. Specializing in trauma-focused therapy, I use evidence-based techniques to help clients process past experiences, fostering resilience and recovery.
In addition to trauma therapy, I integrate expressive art therapy into sessions, allowing clients to explore and express emotions in a creative, non-verbal way. This approach supports self-discovery and emotional release, particularly for those who find it difficult to articulate their feelings.
I believe in the inherent strength of each individual and utilize a strength-based approach, focusing on clients’ abilities, resources, and growth potential. This approach builds confidence and helps clients thrive in their healing journey. In practice, I take a person-centered approach, creating a safe, collaborative environment where clients feel heard and validated. Each therapeutic relationship is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual, with an emphasis on empathy and respect.
With experience working with individuals of all ages—ranging from children (5+) to adults (65+)—I provide effective support across various mental health challenges. Whether navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ or other life challenges, I am committed to supporting my clients toward emotional well-being and self-discovery.
